Arbitration in Times of International Conflicts

Warsaw will gather the world’s most reputed arbitration lawyers to discuss practical implications of international arbitration in times of international conflicts. Given the present geopolitical context and recent threatening cases involving e.g. Crimea, Timor Leste, Kosovo and the activities of the IS, arbitration practitioners face a plenty of salient theoretical and practical issues relating to international arbitration which they will discuss at the Conference “Arbitration in Times of International Conflicts” in late May.

Venue: Pałac Prymasowski, 13-15 Senatorska Str., Warsaw

Globally recognized arbitration practitioners from top tier law firms, including Clifford Chance, Cohausz & Florack, Dechert, Freshfields, K&L Gates, Luther, Sayenko Kharenko, WilmerHale and Winston&Strawn, will share their insights into the topical issues of international treaty arbitration and international commercial arbitration.

The conference is organized by the Polish-Ukrainian Chapter of the Spanish Arbitration Club in co-operation with the Lewiatan Court of Arbitration and the Institute of Legal Studies of the Polish Academy of Science.
