UAA is pleased to announce that it has been included in the list of non-governmental organizations eligible for invitation to participate as an observer in sessions of UNCITRAL Working Group II on Arbitration and Conciliation / Dispute Settlement.
Starting from the next session of the Working Group UAA will receive invitations from UNICITRAL to attend the sessions as an observer. Observers do not participate in the decision-taking but upon invitation by the chairperson of the session may be invited to take the floor to represent the views of the organization on matters where it has expertise or international experience so as to facilitate the deliberations.
UAA looks forward to the cooperation, which we hope will turn out to be productive and mutually beneficial.
Members of the Association can be an individual with a law degree, is a specialist in international commercial arbitration or have a professional interest in international commercial arbitration and share the goals and objectives of the Association. Read more
