The Basel Winter Arbitration School will take place on 5-9 February 2024 at the Law Faculty of the University of Basel in Switzerland.
The school will feature an interactive six-day programme introducing participants to different types of public, private and hybrid arbitration and related practice development and career opportunities. Young practitioners and graduate students working in the field of dispute resolution will particularly benefit from this programme.

Ukrainian Arbitration Association will select two candidates to attend the Basel Winter Arbitration School. Please prepare a 150-word letter of motivation for this opportunity indicating whether you wish to attend the school in person or online, and sent it to info@arbitration.kiev.ua with ‘Basel Winter Arbitration School’ in the subject line. Please submit your application by 5 September 2023. You will be notified by the UAA team about the outcome by 12 September 2023. In total, two scholarships for Ukrainian nationals will be awarded – one for online and one for in-person participation.

Members of the Association can be an individual with a law degree, is a specialist in international commercial arbitration or have a professional interest in international commercial arbitration and share the goals and objectives of the Association. Read more
