The UAA Working Group on ad hoc Arbitration Launches the New Work Stage

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new stage in the activities of the UAA Working Group on the development of ad hoc arbitration in Ukraine.

This group has been established by the decision of the UAA Board of 21 January  2013 to create practical conditions for the promotion and development of ad hoc arbitration in Ukraine through i.a. the elaboration of appropriate rules and procedures. The Working Group has already successfully completed the first stage of work by developing the Regulations on the Appointment Committee.

The coordinator of the next stage of the group's work –drafting the rules of assistance to ad hoc arbitration - is Artem Doudko.

Considering the Association’s successful experience of Amicus Curiae Briefs preparation, the same format of work will be used for the Working Group on Ad hoc arbitration development in Ukraine.

We invite all interested members of UAA to indicate their willingness to participate in the new stage of the Working Group meetings via email to the coordinator of the group Artem Dudko at artem.doudko@osborneclarke.com and the UAA secretariat at secretariat@arbitration.kiev.ua

Members of the Association can be an individual with a law degree, is a specialist in international commercial arbitration or have a professional interest in international commercial arbitration and share the goals and objectives of the Association. Read more
