Amendments to the Regulations on Membership and to the Decision on the Amount of Contributions

We would like to inform you that at its meeting on 6 May 2025, the UAA Board adopted a decision to amend the Regulations on Membership and the Decision on the Amount of Contributions.

The Board has introduced the following key changes:

  1. If a member or candidate for the membership of the Association joins the Association after 1 July of a calendar year, 50% of the annual fee (instead of the full amount) is payable.
  2. Starting from 2026, annual membership fees must be paid by March 31 of the calendar year to which the fee applies, rather than within a year from the date of the last payment by each member, as was previously the case. Membership fees paid in 2025 are deemed to be paid for 2025 irrespective of the date on which they were paid.

All other provisions, including on the amount of membership fees, remain unchanged.

Members of the Association can be an individual with a law degree, is a specialist in international commercial arbitration or have a professional interest in international commercial arbitration and share the goals and objectives of the Association. Read more
