The goal of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot is to foster the study of international commercial law and arbitration for resolution of international business disputes through its application to a concrete problem of a client. The moot consists of submitting written memoranda prior to the moot on designated dates for both sides of the dispute. The oral arguments phase of the moot is annually held in Vienna, Austria.
